I wore my jacket out today because it had been a long time since I've last worn it.
Well, it's not like I regret it or anything, but.
Fine, I totally regretted it.
It's like damn freaking hot today.
And apparently I didn't bother to take it off.
Partly because I didn't want to add weight to my backpack which is already filled with like, 8 books.
Oops? :D

So yeah, here comes the part when I'm squealing and yippee-ing about the awesomee books I managed to get today at the Book Exchange.
Except I totally did not get enough.
Nine books is barely enough.
Especially after knowing how someone got 100 books from the event.
(Big woah over there)
Granted, I'll never get to these within, say, three months?
Yeah, I'll say that's a safe bet.
But still, free books!!! xD

Except for the simmering heat and the expected crowd which stayed past 3pm, and I believe until 6pm, I would say the event was pretty well done.
The books were categorized to different languages then fiction/non-fiction and placed nicely (before the hands got to them) with their spines faced up.
Guess there's no point in further splitting them into different sub-categories and genres since the peeps're gonna mess 'em up anyway.
Great music (hee ;P) plus the occasional air-con which drifted out of the national library building.
Although I think not many paid attention to these while ransacking through the piles.
Books scavenger hunt for the win~

If only there had been more YA books.
Which I didn't see much of except for City of Ashes and volume three of the Chloe King series.
Haiz, these teens ain't very much for parting with their beloveds huh.
How I wish I had enough coupons to spare for those great reads I read through and loved.
Hope they'll end up in better hands who have yet to discover their brilliance then.

After we were finally satisfied with our load (or maybe I meant me, reckon Joan was getting bored then oops~), we went to Mac for yum yum mocha frappe (for me) and lunch.
Where I spent at least an hour, due to the lack of appetite as an aftermath of vigorous book-snatching.
Okay, maybe I've exaggerated there a bit hmm.
Talked a while about the camp audition.
Damn, I'm getting more and more excited x)

Then went to what was once my second home (due to the long hours spent there, not the 'homely feel') to get my payslip~
Please don't get me anyway near books if you intend to leave within the hour.
Because even though I have no intention of buying anything I would still stand around and y'know, indulge in the 书香 xD
Which is kinda what happened today.
Heheh?

BIG THANKS TO JOAN.
For humouring me for the whole day.
As we survived the crowd at the plaza.
Holding on to the books while I refused to give up searching :P
As I managed to lunch for an hour plus plus.
Maintaining the conversation and eating up the fries x)
As we went through the shelves at popular.
Reading in whatever I threw at you :X
As we were on the MRT back from Bugis.
Listening as I got so overly excited sharing books stuff.
Aww you're such a good listener, I love you many many!

Now if you'll excuse me, *abrupt change of mood* I need to get my horror movie fix.
It's Prom Night tonight!
Got ready to be drop dead gorgeous in your stunning killer dress?
I got another plate of mee goreng as supper to tide me through!
Hahahahahahah *insanity laughter ends*
