My thoughts on SPARKZ'13.

"As the chief bizmag of SPARKZ'13, in fact, I do have a lot to say.

I want to express my belated but extremely sincere gratitude to everyone who helped out during the canvassing period.
To my fellow bizmags who had to work with me (tough job there hahaha): Qi Rong, Hwee Yin, Sabrina, Casper, Hui Fang, Alyssa. I know I'm not very organized by thank you for being willing to work aside me nevertheless! Through the whole process of canvassing from coming up of ideas, sourcing for materials and executing the plan till dealing with sponsorship matters, I've learnt a lot and now I know that the job of a bizmag is definitely not easy! xP
To the other bizmags from HiSg: Andyy, Xiao Li, Yin En, Vera, Kah Hsing and especially Wei Siang who kinda became SPARKZ vice chair as well. It was great knowing you guys and I'm glad to have you guys working with us to make the canvassing a very fruitful one ^^
To the other RSPHI peeps who came down to help out with canvassing, thanks for putting in the effort! Canvassing would never have been able to this successful without the help of you guys. Especially those who bought a lot haha. Hope you guys was able to have fun and bond with the rest during the making of keychains/badges as well!

I want to show my appreciation to everyone involved in the planning of SPARKZ.
To the main committee, Xiaochun, Liwen, Wei Ling, Yi Teng, Eunice, Caryl, Kwan Yong, Zhixiang, Karen. WE CAN FINALLY SLEEP WELL! xD I can see that everyone in the main committee has put in tremendous efforts, sacrificing academics and sleep, not being able to eat well and killing lots of brain cells. But I must say the smiles of the tutees and the fun we had during the actual event made it all worth it. Everyone please go study and eat and sleep well from now onwards :P
To the proggies, thank you for ensuring that the games were fun and enjoyable despite the multiple changes from the start till the end! Not a proggie myself but I'm aware that some initial stations were rejected and changed totally since the start, thanks for not giving up and persevering on to ensure maximum fun during SPARKZ~
To the logistics, thank you for taking care of all logistical matters despite being a mere two-men team! It's really been hard on the two of you xD Although y'all didn't actually help the bizmag much (OOPS haha), if not for the logistics SPARKZ'13 would not have been able to proceed on smoothly :)
To the PnP, thank you for designing the SPARKZ badge and T-shirts and teaching us how to make pinata haha! Thanks for coming through despite being a small team of 2/3 people. Now y'all have one last job please choose pretty photos of me haha.

Special shoutout to the seniors, I'm really grateful beyond words :'D
To Boss, who had to deal with everything big and trivial, hope we didn't get you into too much trouble throughout the whole planning process :P
To Siang Yong, thanks for coordinating everything SPARKZ and HiSg and helping out with whatever you can!
To Xin Tian, Hui Fang, Li Ting and Dorcas for helping me out with bizmag stuff! Would have been totally lost without the help of you guys (and honestly, I was very lost at first haha).
To all others seniors who dropped by to help out throughout the planning of SPARKZ, those who attended the dry runs, thanks for giving us your time even though it's a juniors' event. It is through y'all I learn the true RSPHI spirit :D

And of course, the Kallangers ♥
To the seniors, Jie Miin, Hui Min and Hendrik especially, thanks for guiding us along and spending so much time helping us out despite your busy schedules!
To the juniors, thanks for responding to our calls for help at times of need! I know that I can always fall back on you guys :')

From the very first meeting we had last October to the actual event yesterday, I have learnt a lot and I have grown a lot. Being involved in the planning of SPARKZ is definitely one of the most unforgettable experience ever. It is my first time taking up a leadership role and although I could have done better, I'm still really grateful to those who encouraged me to the way and listened to my rantings and whines. Many times I'd felt like giving up but I was able push on with the support of others :)
Now that SPARKZ is over, I hope that everyone in RSPHI can be more closely knitted than ever and pls say hi to me when you see me around school ^_^

 RSPHI ZAI! SPARKZ'13 ZAI!"

I've met many new people, offended some but overall, I'm glad of this experience. It's not everyday I'm able to be granted this opportunity to work with a group of people like the SPARKZ'13 committee. Now that it is over, apart from being (extremely) relieved, I'm also sure I'll feel a sense of loss for a period of time. I'll miss the good parts, the working and playing and having fun with the RSPHI people, and I'll also remember the not-so-good parts, the mental and physcial exhaustion and slogging my guts out. All these account for the precious memories that would stay with me till I can no longer remember.
